Whether you're aiming to master the fundamentals of ganaching and covering a cake in sugarpaste or explore more intricate techniques such as creating sugar flowers, I'm here to collaborate with you. Together, we'll schedule the day according to your needs to maximise our time together effectively.

IN PERSON - ONE DAY PRIVATE LESSON - £255 per day - 9.30am - 6pm  *Additional costs may apply should any specialist tools be required. (You will be given notice prior to booking.)

What a day may look like

Sugarcraft

From forming petals to wiring, taping, and dusting, you'll learn how to bring your flowers to life. We'll then arrange them on a pre-covered cake dummy for you to take home.

If you are new to sugar flowers, we'll start with a variety of rose types to set the foundation for creating other flowers.

I will share my tips for creating beautiful flowers and foliage. We'll use my favorite flower paste and tools, make edible glue, and discuss assembling the essential toolkit for your sugar flower journey.

Cake classes

Cake basics

Learn how to cut, fill, ganache, and cover a cake in sugarpaste to achieve flawless results every time. We will cover both the all-in method and the paneling method.

We'll also delve into dowelling and stacking techniques. If time allows, we'll explore stencilling, ruffles, or glitter application.

Plus, you'll receive my classic vanilla sponge recipe, along with my buttercream and ganache recipes. We will also make a batch of ganache together.
