Let's talk about cake! Virtual appointments are available for couples ready to begin the wedding cake design process. These video calls are perfect for busy couples, those located far away, or couples living abroad and planning their Scottish wedding. If you fit into any of these categories, a video call is an ideal solution. If you can't make a video call don't worry as the design process can be carried out via emails. Virtual appointments include sample tasting boxes which can be delivered UK wide or collected if you are local.
Video Design Consultations: Typically lasting up to 40 minutes and focuses on your aesthetic preferences. This is an opportunity for us to dive into your wedding plans in more detail. A cake tasting box will be provided during the design process, well in advance of your wedding day.
To ensure your cake ties in beautifully with the rest of your day, I recommend starting the design process once you have confirmed key elements such as your colour palette, dress/attire, room decor and flower choices with your florist. That way, your cake will perfectly complement your overall wedding look.
Before your Bespoke design appointment, whether this is in-person, a video call or emails. I’ll send you a simple pre-meeting checklist to learn more about your plans. Using the this information, I’ll create a personalised mood board. This will allow us to have a thorough discussion about your wedding day and any specific cake design elements you're considering.
After the consultation, I'll provide you with a comprehensive proposal via email, which will include:
A hand-drawn sketch of your design or multiple sketches to choose from.
A quote for your cake.
Details on cake flavors.
Delivery information.
Stand hire options.
Any other requirements.
Bespoke Design and tasting Consultation; Once your £100 "Save the Date" booking fee has been paid, a wedding cake design and tasting consultation is included as part of the bespoke service.
